On November 10th, 2016, my school had a career day. Before career day, I really wanted to be a nurse. While I was doing career day, my "paycheck" said I was a practical nurse, and I had 4 children. I do make a lot of money on my job, but each month I only get to spend around $2000. I had done great with my money at the reality store. I started to run out of money, so I had to get a second job. I survived and managed to buy everything I needed.
I had bought a house, a car, groceries, and many other things. I had planned to get the important things first. I had bought almost everything except for groceries, clothing, and entertainment. I had went to get a second job because I was almost out of money. Once I had gotten an extra $400, I was able to buy everything I needed and donate $100 to the church. One thing I would change would be to try to save a lot more of my money. I would try to make smarter choices about money, and what I had boughten.
At the end of the day when we had seen our guest speakers only one had stood out. The three classes I had seen were Nutrition/health, Arts and Communication, and Forensics science. The one class that stood out to me was definitely the Nutrition/health class. It stood out to me because I would really love to be a nurse. Ever since I was growing up I wanted to be a nurse because I think it would be a great opportunity to be able to get along with people, help people, and to be able to love my job and work. I learned what opportunities there are when you sign up for that class, what I would be learning, what different jobs you could get, and how much you would earn. I really loved career day and I really wish that we could do it again at the end of the year. Career day really helped me because I had seen what my future would hopefully look like.
