I read this book before about a girl who's life was perfect but then she became famous and her life went downhill. She had thought that fame would be great, but she didn’t like it anymore because she was always watched, and couldn't even spend time with her family. She wished she had never became a star. Did you know that most stars crack under pressure? Attention is a great thing to have but do you still want attention when you can't do any movement without being watched or talked about? "All great things in life come to an end." I think both fame and fortune could make me happy. If I became famous I would take most of my money and give it to saint Jude hospitals, I would give it to cancer centers, and even give it to many animal shelters. Fortune can help me find the real me, and I actually have great friends. Yes, fame and fortune can make me happy but there are some disadvantages to both. Some disadvantages are that the happiness from fame disappears quickly. "That kind of happiness fades within no time." With fame I will be constantly watched or followed, and I will be separated from my family which wouldn't work for me. With fortune I won't be able to help other people."Indeed, famous people can't so much as walk their dogs or tie their shoes without being gawked at, photographed, tweeted about, or Instagrammed." According to Reel Rundown some disadvantages are “ 1. Famous people can't do things that the average person can 2. Being famous or a celebrity can attract stalkers 3. A celebrity status can attract too many fake friends 4. People constantly judge celebrities and 5. Celebrities have no privacy.” After someone becomes famous, they will not enjoy it anymore because at first it was wow, great, I love this, and then it turns into something like a drug overdose because you can’t stand being watched or talked about anymore. Advantages for fame are really great but nothing good last forever. Fame will make me happy because I’ll be doing what I love everyday and I can help other people. Fortune will let me be me, and I will be able to also do another thing that I love. On the other hand, the only reason why I want to be famous is because I want to give money to the poor and charities. According to Reel Rundown, some advantages to fame are “1. Celebrities get special treatment wherever they go 2. Being famous generally means being richer 3. Celebrities are recognized everywhere they go and 4. Many opportunities arise when people become famous.” Fame and fortune are both equally great. Yes, they both have their disadvantages and advantages but what can you get out of both? With fame, stars act like they have a perfect world but in reality, they can't stand being famous. They love being on stage, but when they get off they don't want to be watched, tweeted about, or even photographed because it’s an everyday thing. With Fortune, you can have real or great friends. You can have friends with fame but you never know if they are real friends with you because of you being famous or for you being yourself. After all of this arguing, I had learned that being famous wouldn't be so pleasing. If I had to choose between fame or fortune, I personally would choose fortune because "All great things in life come to an end."

Over my break, I had did many things like shopping for Christmas, opening presents, celebrate Jesus’s birth and many other things. I had loved the my winter break because it's time for Christmas and it’s there was more family time. With a new baby brother added to the family it was complicated but I was able to manage.
During my break I had went shopping for my mother and father. We had wrapped presents, and during wrapping presents let's just say that we had an issue and ran out of wrapping paper. Anyways my family had went to a Christmas eve party, opened presents, had a feast, played many games, babysitting, went to go see Christmas lights and last but not least we had all spent memorable times with each other. While we were shopping we had went to pick up a nintendo NES but they were out of stock so we had to get a playstation. Wrapping presents was a blast even when you get wrapped up and you are trapped. At the Christmas eve party we had played games, ate, opened gifts, and took a batch of cookies home. The presents were wrapped in aluminum foil and they were really hard to open, but my sister Faith had gotten through them like nothing. The Christmas lights were beautiful, they were the prettiest lights I had ever seen and they were just amazing. Things were different this year though because we had a new addition to the family named Camden. Camden had opened presents, and even tried normal food. Although this Christmas break was great I had started to miss school and I couldn't wait to come back! This was by far the best Christmas break and Christmas ever, and I will definitely cherish this forever. |
