My hero would be my father, Jeffery Alan Grosswiler, and he is the bravest man I have ever known. I’m proud to call him father.
My father is brave, kind, sacrificing, confident, honest, respectful, outgoing, and very loving. Once I was having troubles in math, and I asked him for help, so he helped me even though he was working his car. He is just an amazing man. I would love to be just like him. Even if he doesn't know you and he had seen you on the side of the road broke down, he would help you. If you did wrong to him he wouldn't do wrong to you. He is a man of his word. I chose him as my hero because, he knows everything, he pushes himself farther, and farther each day. He never ever gives upon me, my mother, brother, or sister. The reason why he is my hero is because whenever I need him he is there for me. Even if my father would be working on something for himself and you came up and asked for help, he would stop everything he is doing and help you. My father is an amazing man, and I would do anything to be more like him. He is always giving people everything even if it means that he has to give up something of his own. So I would have to say that he is phenomenal at everything. I thank him everyday for his help, and I don't know what I would do without him.

Candice, make sure you elaborate on your topic sentence and try to focus on the characteristics. We also need to use more subordinating conjunctions to make complex sentence structure.
